About Us

AMCO Drilling was originally established in Guinea, West Africa in 1999 with one exploration drilling rig working for AngloGold at the Siguiri Mine.

Based on a reputation of high quality and efficient service delivery the company’s operations have rapidly expanded over the last eight years and we now service the operational requirements of a growing number of international clients.

Operating from our permanent base in Guinea, and using personnel with specialist knowledge of the area, our activities are concentrated on West Africa where we are recognised as one of the leading providers of specialist drilling services in the region. Utilising our highly maintained fleet of drilling rigs and associated equipment we have the potential to drill well in excess of 80,000 meters per month. Supported by extensive workshops, stores facilities and high quality communications, we are ideally placed for fully supported rapid deployments to any location within West Africa.

Amco Drilling employ a highly motivated, flexible and mobile team of employees consisting of both expatriate and locally employed labour all of whom are highly skilled across a range of activities from mine grade control to exploration drilling.
