Reverse Circulation Exploration Drilling Programme
Client:Murchison United NL
Location:Bir En Nar Region of Mauritania
Programme:6 Weeks
In December 2007 the company carried out an exploration drilling programme for Uranium deposits on behalf of Murchison United NL.
The 4000 metre reverse circulation drilling programme consisted of 40 boreholes of varying depths between 50 and 100 metres.
The work was located in the remote Bir En Nar Region of Mauritania and undertaken in extreme desert conditions with the drilling teams living under canvas.
The successful completion of this contract work is another excellent example of Amco Drilling’s ability to deploy resources and equipment and effectively deliver contractual requirements in some of the world’s most remote locations.
